A Walk to Remember
Nicholas Sparks
This is an excellent book. The two main characters are Jamie Sulivan and Landon Carter. Jamie is a great
example of how a Christian should act. This novel will make you laugh, smile, and cry. Maybe all at the same time.
It is the type of story that every girl wishes that she could have in real life. The end will leave you trying to figure
out what really happened

C.S. Lewis
I think that every Christian should read this book. It gives you insight and teaches you things that you never
thought about before. Some things you might agree with and some things you might disagree with, but all in all this
is a good book to help you on your walk.
The Notebook
Nicholas Sparks
This novel is another great one from Nicholas Sparks. This one is a little more secular than A Walk to Remember,
but it is still a great book. The type of love that Noah has for Allison is what most little girls think of when they
imagine their knight in shining armor. This is set in a little town in North Carolina called New Bern. I would
definetly recommend reading The Wedding when you finish this book. The Wedding is the sequal to The
Notebook.
Local Events
May 1, 2005
A dinner theater featuring a choir performance and the play "The Emperor's New Clothes," is going to
be held at Fellowship Bible Church. It will be starting at 6:00 P.M. If you need directions, please contact the
church office at 848-7200. The dinner and performance are free, but donations are welcome. All donations will
be used for the Youth Mission trip.

Robots (PG)
From the creators of Ice Age
While I haven't seen this movie yet, I have heard many positive things about it. This movie is family friendly
and something that people of all ages will enjoy. It is about a world has a population that consists
of robots. A young genius robot tries to make his world a better place by using robots for good, but a corporate
big wig robot tries to get in his way. This movie is great for the kids and a good excuse to get out of the
house.
The Pacifier (PG)
Walt Disney Pictures
This comedy stars Vin Diesel as a navy seal who is given the assignment to protect the five out of control children of
an assassinated govenment scientist. I would recomend seeing this if you want a little more comedy and action in your
diet. It never hurts to laugh.
Music
Go Light Your World
Chris Rice
I always say that everyone should hear "Go Light Your World." This song tells us exactly what we should do as
Christians. We need to take our candles and light the world. Every person on this earth has a light inside
of them. Some lights have burned out and some are blazing. Our job is to take our candles and help those
whose light has burned out or is close to being blown out. It is like at a lighting ceremony, you have one candle that
is burning and you pass it on to another person and that person passes it on to another, so on and so forth. Pretty
soon you find that the whole entire room is radiating with light. This world is that room and we are the candles.
Let's go use them.
